ಹಲವು ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಕೊರತೆಯಿದ್ದು, ಒಂದು ಕೊಡ ನೀರಿಗಾಗಿ ಮೈಲು ದೂರ ಕ್ರಮಿಸಬೇಕಾದ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯತೆಯಿದೆ. ಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬಂದವರಾದ ನಳಿನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕಟೀಲ್ರವರು ಈ ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದ ಅರಿವು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಅದನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸಲೆಂದೇ ಕುಂಜಾಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಈ ಹೊಸ ನೀರಿನ ಟ್ಯಾಂಕ್ನ್ನು 2010-11ರಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮರ್ಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಉತ್ತಮ ರಸ್ತೆ, ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಪೂರೈಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರು ಸಹ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಜನಸೇವಕನಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ವಿನಮ್ರವಾಗಿ ನುಡಿಯುತ್ತಾರೆ .
A water tank was established, considering the difficulty rural people undergo for a bucket of water. The tank was established as a means of ridding local community from the task of walking miles for a bucket of water. It was boon for the villagers who were rejoiced at the sight of the water tank. It was a much needed thing for the villagers which now can be used for satisfying their various commercial and domestic needs.
