| As per the itinerary, Advani will fly from Kochi to Bangalore on October 30 evening. Following a press conference at 4 pm, he will address a public meeting at 5 pm at National College Grounds, Basavanagudi.
On October 31, he will fly to Mangalore where a public rally will be held at 11 am at Nehru Maidan and later, he will reach Udupi to address a rally at 2 pm. He will go to Honnavar to address one more rally and stay at Gokarna. On November 1, he will leave for Goa after addressing a rally at Honnavar. Speaking to mediapersons in Bangalore on Thursday, MP from Dakshina Kannada and co-ordinator of the yatra in the coastal districts, Nalin Kumar Kateel said the yatra will pass through Mulki, Yajamadi, Kundapur, Baindur and Bhatkal. Kateel said senior BJP leaders H N Ananth Kumar and Ravishankar Prasad would accompany Advani. But, he dodged the question whether former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa would also travel with him. He said Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda would attend public meetings in a couple of places. During the yatra, the party workers will distribute booklets highlighting the development works taken up by the BJP government. |
