Nalin Kumar is building contractor by profession. He has started his social life as a Swayamsevak for RSS at taluka level at the age of 18. He was the in- harge of “Dharmajagarana Vedike”, and participated in “Ayodhya Andoolana”

He started his political career in BJP in 2004 and he was district General Secretary for a period of 5 years.

He likes to participate in various social activities. He was an in-charge of “Ayodhya Andoolana” and participated in Kandadale Save Nature protest.
To protect the interest of the farmers he has formed “Kinnigoli Farmers Welfare Association”.

He has started “Parisara Samithi” at Katilu to secure the nature and protest to ban the liquor and protest against to selling the liquor.

He has started “Mathrubhumi Society” with the fellows at Gurupura, Kaikamba and provided free ambulance service and needful facilities in the field of health for weaker sections.

Nalin Kumar achievements in religious sector are remarkable. He has started co-operative societies, Bhajana Mandira and educational Institution under the name of Siddhi Vinayaka Seva Samithi in Manjunathanagar at Paltadi.

He is an Organizing President of Brahmakalashothsava Samithi Sri Durga Parameswari Temple, at Katilu and Paavanje Southraamani Gavaamayana Yaaga Samithi – (a very Big Visista-Yaga in the state).

He has organized Hindu Samajothsava, Ramajapa Yaga at Gurupura and organizing President for 17 Temples, Bhajana Mandiras throughout the Districts.
